And if in doubt (get Frank out) aka, pop 2 drops of Frankincense under your tongue!
Mother Nature creates these powerful, energy changing, pure extracts of joy within her plants. These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants, as a form of immune system for the plant itself. There is nothing better.
Because our bodies recognise them as pure, organic matter, we can benefit from using them in, on or around our own body to protect, support, and enhance ourselves; physically, emotionally, spiritually and environmentally.

A one stop shop essential oil BIBLE right in the palm of your hand! It cost $11, but it will be one of the greatest assets to help you use your oils. I lists by body system, ailment, emotion, and alphabetically by oil. I HIGHLY recommend this app.

I use this almost every day. I’ve always intuitively picked essential oils for my diffuser and topical blends. What this book allows me to do is figure out the emotional support those oils I’ve just picked will provide. It’s a great tool as it brings those feeling to my conscious state so I can actively work through them if need be.
Magical Aromatherapy ~ Scott Cunningham
This magical book teaches the gentle art of using the power of fragrance to enhance your life. If you do magical rituals, you'll also be thankful for information such as the ruling planet and element for each of the essential oils. Also given are aromas of the seasons, lunar cycles, days of the week, and zodiacal signs. You'll also learn how to make, store, and use essential oils.
Cunningham's classic introduction to Wicca is about how to live life magically, spiritually, and wholly attuned with nature. It is a book of sense and common sense, & how to achieve the much needed and wholesome relationship with our Earth. Wicca as it is today: a gentle, Earth-oriented religion dedicated to the Goddess and God.
The Fragrant Pharmacy by Valerie Worwood
Before I ever used doTERRA, this was my bible. I remember the day my cousin Bernadette gave it to me. Some of the info is a little dated when it comes to the carrier oils – I just stick to fractionated coconut oil for EVERYTHING therapeutic, only using jojoba for beauty application.
Much like the modern essentials app above it lists by ailment and by oil. But what I love about this is the extensive catalogue of blends and essential oil recipes for all types of oils based food, home and personal care. Here is the free access to this app just for you x
