Everywhere I turn this past month, I'm being reminded of faith. Often when my chin falls down I have to manually prop it back up. Self-coaxing works;
"It will be okay,"
"Keep going,"
"Baby steps,"
"Just get through the next 15 minutes."
And lo, the wind blows, the planets change alignment and like magic the mood lifts, the ambiance has changed, the sun is shining again.
Faith, patience and trust. It will be okay, wait, proof (it's been okay in the past).
A wonderful lesson for the children to be observing.
Before Hinduism, Yoga explained the concept of Ganesha. Ganesha was a type of energy (later artists were asked to draw Ganesha so that people could relate to a form, something they could fix their mind to), a type of energy that stands in your way of getting something you want and a type of energy that removes obstacles in your way. See, it's about timing. We just have to wait sometimes to get what we want or what we think we want. Often when we've waited long enough it turns out we didn't really need what it was we thought.
