It all came back to me. I love November! The cricket season has started, the eucalyptus trees are flowering, the peonies and whilst doing the school drop-offs I've noticed a pink rambling David Austin rose seemingly everywhere. Has it always been like this and I've never noticed? Probably.
I have a new laptop and am coming back to blogging/writing after, maybe a year? I'm thinking that I'll refind the writing blogs I enjoyed reading, Amanda over at Habit of Being comes to mind because of it's lovely themed writings each month (wonder if she still does these?)
My manifesto for November in which everything hurries up and we are catipulted towards the solstice and end of year;
slow down
hurry up, get things done
watch less Modern Family
watch all of the Modern Family series'
laugh more
worry less
take more photographs
print more photographs
A brief family update;
Bodhi has four weeks left of his 4 year cycle at Montessori. Sadly we say goodbye. The school is in the process of the next stage, primary. It will probably be ready, 2016. He starts at Steiner next year in Class One. He is taking on all of the behaviours of a young boy; making a 'yucky' face if a girl looks at him, wearing the same clothes for the whole week, stuffing his pockets full of things...
Indira is shining and at the same time producing some behaviours that make us squirm. Eight is an interesting age to say the least. I'm encouraging her to drink magnesium powder, oil (Omega 3 & 6) and an iron tonic. It's hit and miss but at least some is getting inside her body. She is very much absorbed in her friendships (and she has some very lovely friends). On Friday she has a school sleepover (God bless those teachers!) Next year she moves to class 3.
Dazla is very focused on his new building project. It's massive!!! Truth be told, I don't know how he does it. Managing the cash flows, dealing with up to 15 other trades on site, let alone building a wall? He is such a beautiful dad, he comes home after a full on day with kisses, hugs and manages to play with the children.
Me, I'm trying to find balance, regularity and peace. Sometimes I do really well, sometimes I do poorly and wonder how people sustain their energy? I'm taking iron, magnesium and vitamins B. I'm swimming at the Ocean Baths, eating well and trying to take one step at a time. I've started a new job - as a buyer for the local Satyananda Yoga ashram. It's lovely work. But more about that later.
Yes, now I remember, I want to Blurb this blog. I've been meaning to do it for years and I think I might be in the fourth/fifth year of blogging? I need to get this thing printed. Especially because my hard drive is in hospital. It has every single one of my photos/films on it!!! Do I have a back up. No!
It's been nice writing here today. I'm hoping I can do it more regularly.
