I joined a community choir this week. It is an established choir with twelve or so singers. Happily my voice can make mistakes and be somewhat drowned by the more confident voices. I loved it. It was so much fun, the warm up with the bbbbrrrrrr up and down up and down. The pace was fast and I think we covered 8 different pieces. It is a canon choir and it reminded me of my school choir and also brought back beautiful memories of The Sound of Music and the nuns singing bass, alto and high soprano. One song, Wardens of the Light, has open 5th chords making it sound ancient. I tell you I was in 7th heaven. I have some homework including this;
