We have about one hundred white Star of Bethlehem flower dotted around our home and every morning at dusk I'm out there drinking the morning dew off my palm. It is such a delight to take this essence. It lightens my heart, my outlook on life, a new perspective dawns, I see possibilities where there were none and it brings me a quiet joy.
The star, hope, faith... trust. I tell the children that Santa's elves and Saraswati's fairies live in the flowers, the elves and fairies watch us and go back and tell the Master and Mistress how wonderful we all are. I tell them to whisper into the flowers and tell them how much they love them and that they can pass messages onto Santa and Saraswati this way. The children lay underneath the flower to have a gentle shower. The view from underneath is sublime. God's greetings of the season.
I don't think that it is any co-incidence that Agapanthas or Star of Bethlehem flowers come out at Christmas in Australia. My doctor says that most days there is 20% of people with stress related issues walking through his door, at Christmas it's 50%. Did you know that Rescue Remedy has Star of Bethlehem in it?
