A few weeks ago I bought Indira a Miraculous Medal of Mary. This medal was part of a detailed necklace that contained the Lord's Prayer. Within and around the necklace were blue crystals.
On Friday she lost the medallion of Mary at school in a rubbish bin. We went to look in the bin but alas it had already been emptied into the 4 x 2 metre skip bin along with the rest of the weeks rubbish.
Apart from setting an example of faith for my children I knew in my heart that I would have to look for it.
We walked up to the rubbish area and I swung open the metal door which led to the skip bin. I opened one part of the massive black lids. My eye swept over some 300+ clear bags of rubbish. I picked up one of the bags and lifted it up slightly and right there before my very eyes was the miraculous medallion. I laughed because of course it was there in the first bag I put my hand on. I was guided to that bag. I told Indira and she smiled. We ran back laughing, thanking Mary outloud and giggling more and more and more.
Once home I washed the medal in pure water and then cleansed it in a bowl of rose water and some golden fuschias that Indira collected from the garden.
A peace descended once again in my heart and each time I thought about this miraculous story my heart would rise even more. We are blest, we are blest, we are blest. Another sign from the beautiful force and gentle hand of Mother Mary, thank you.
