I went to a Buddhist meeting on the weekend. This is what I heard;
♥ try to improve every single day
♥ motherhood is a meaningful, purposeful struggle
♥ tirelessley polish your life
♥ tomorrow is whatever I am doing this moment
♥ teach children about compassionate human behaviour with people by modelling; eye contact, shaking hands, hugging, kissing, inquiring about the person's health/family/friends, praise, encouragement
♥ the Victory is in never giving up
♥ negativity comes from the human mind - it is inherent in us all - negativity creates hate, conflict and war
♥ positivity is challenging - we are continually challenged - but positivity can be created as a habit
From Mrs Ikeda's book - Buddhist mother of three and wife of Daisaku Ikeda, president of the Soka Gakkai International;
Complaints erase good fortune.
Grateful prayer builds happiness for all eternity.
This means that we must have a positive outlook in everything we do.
I have made this a personal habit.
How was your weekend? I hope that you are well, happy and safe. Create a beautiful week. Love Katie x
