Our beautiful organic community garden at the Central Coast Montessori School is flourishing through the love and attention of the sun, the rain, the soil and the four parents who are rostered on to tend to the garden everyday.
Our garden is also loved and nurtured by the children who play, sing and dance around the mandalas daily.
The garden is embedded with crystals and is nurtured with reiki, prayer and offerings of incense.

We have been harvesting basil, tomatoes, eggplants, zucchinis, beans, corgettes, lettuce, parsley and marigolds and seed saving. We have planted a strawberry patch, corn, carrots, potatoes and companion plants; chives, lovage, rosemary, garlic and more to keep away army grubs, snails and white moth.
The trees that have been planted are mango, orange, mandarin, persimmon, olive and avocado. We hope in the future to plant nut trees like; almond, walnut and pistachio.
In the meantime we watch, wonder and give thanks for the abundance that Mother Earth gives us each and everyday. Thanks for the sun and the moon rising and setting, thanks for the rain that provides nourishment, minerals and oxygen. Thanks for our Montessori Community which is a true blessing.
Sometimes we are there late at night after parent gatherings. Above, the universe, stars, milky way and the moon shine down on us, the school, the garden.
There is always a sense of wonder, love and appreciation for our good fortune to be standing on this particular piece of precious earth. Here and because of it, we are able to teach our children about love, respect and abundance.
Live in complete harmony with Nature.
Experience the grace of God
in the splendour of the universe.
Be blessed by God's reassuring love.
The sweet dawn will sweeten your soul,
the dazzling midday will set your hearts aflutter
and the serene music of your soul
will guide you towards peace and prosperity.
And when the day's task is over
you will sleep in the lap of Mother Nature.~ Yajur Veda (34.37) ~
