Sleepy eyed as I am & right between two visits seeing Amma - I thought it was important to invite you to this event.
After a full week & busy week I'm going to strive to support this important event.
Most of the Tibetan councils around the world have committed to step up their struggle to liberate Tibet by working twice as much. I plan to do the same thing. If you are up for a challenge, choose some or one of the following actions; forward this invitation on to someone you know, go & see the movie, support the Tibetans through email campaigns or find an international Tibetan group.
"Known as the “Land of Snows”, Tibet is an ancient civilisation with its own rich cultural and religious past. Tibet and China have a long history and for short periods of time over the last 2000 years Tibet has come under the rule of China. At other times both states were ruled by the Mongol empire. In 1949 China claimed Tibet as part of the “motherland” despite distinct differences in culture, language, identity, government, and legal status. The occupation of Tibet represents brutal repression, colonial occupation, and military domination." (Australian Tibet Council).
Remembering that people are suffering in silence under the brutal Chinese Government - we can be their voice. This is an issue of human rights, environment, religion & culture & economic & social development. Free Tibet!
