A few random, but important things today;
Some things the children have taught me this week; Bodhi said that he wanted to play music at night {I have been thinking about and not doing this for some time and now wanting to put kirtan into every evening}. Indi proclaimed, 'Look at your face in this mirror when you say that." I looked and it was very grumpy! I need to get in touch with my inner child who is screaming out for some adventure, solitude and fun. Thank you my dear sweet children. I've taken note.
I've been reading Remi's earthy, inspirational artists blog that totally blows my mind, I am swept away by her clock shop and intrigued in her etsy shop. I found Remi's blog courtesy of Star over at Faerymother. I'm quietly contemplating the words of the famous E.E Cummings, 'I Carry Your Heart' as a poem to God. I've been inspired by medieval churches here, oh so sweet art here and 'goosebumped' over here.
I spoke with my nan for her birthday ~ another beautiful Libran woman. This is what she told me; when you make clothes for the children, keep some of the fabric, pin or sew together the fabric of the clothes to create a quilt - or create anything from it, if you don't have time to sew it just pin it. Put it in your basket. It will serve as a beautiful reminder for you of all the lovely fabrics you've used over time and it will use up all of your scrap so you don't waste anything. We talked a little more and cried - as usual - when we said goodbye and hung up.
Have you received any good lately?
