This weekend was full but suprisingly relaxing, just the way I like them.
on Friday evening some very excited Montessori parents met to discuss the new Stepping Stones program for the journey towards Eden, the primary classroom
we celebrated a very happy and belated birthday for my sister, Sunshine Sally
Dazla finished making the bed in the campervan
we packed and were ready for the first 'real' campout we drove to the historic town of Wollombi
and out of town to a 90 acre property - complete with wallabies - to celebrate a friend's birthday
thank the lord our dear friends Maxine and Tim were there with their children Mia and Ryder. Our children played, romped, fought, laughed, danced and sung ... "Let's go fly a kite!"
This is Ryder. He is just beautiful and he and Bodhi had a fabulous time together.
this is the kitchen, I'm in love...
I sat around the camp fire and laughed with 15 others, I wondered at the stars, listened to guitar, drank red wine and eventually fell into a peaceful slumber in the van that proved very comfortable
the next morning was all about billy tea, fresh fried eggs in an iron pan, organic rye, toasted sandwiches with goats cheese and a bushwalk that led us to some incredible caves
reluctantly we left, content and tired
happily we have been invited to go again for the Spring Equinox where we will jump over a fire and into the new year
I hope your weekend was a happy one.
I'm joining up with the very wonderful Amanda for Weekending over at Habit of Being.
