After Indira's fall out of a window she has been showing signs of having developed her intuition a bit more. It is an incredible experience to watch as a parent. The first sign I vaguely dismissed but a bit more emerged today. On the emergency bed she told Dazla about a dream she had about his father, who passed away when Indi was just 6 months old. She told him that he came to say goodbye to her. This is quite unusual as no-one knew that his father was going to pass away. Today on the lounge Indira started to give both Bodhi & myself some type of reiki on ajna & vishuddhi chakra. She started omming on there too. She has seen people having reiki but the chakra healing was again unusual.
There is evidence that vijnanamaya kosha develops after accidents & it got me to thinking that her big bump on the head might have opened up different psychic areas of her body. Please understand that I'm not saying I have a miracle on my hands - these are just my observations. These 'powers' will dwindle over time. It is the process of constant yoga sadhana that makes them stabilize.
When I look closer at the photo I posted yesterday I see that it has 5 layers - there are 5 koshas of the body - if the picture was Indi's body it would be full of light. Eerily enough she said to me, "Look at me mummy, I'm coming out of the light."
Swami Satyasangananda in her article Awakening the Vijnanamaya Kosha, the Yoga Magazine I picked up running out the door to Emergency says, ~ "According to the science of yoga, there are five koshas which surround this body in much the same way as the inner core of an onion is covered by layers of skin. Only, in the case of koshas, each subsequent kosha is more subtle and unperceivable to the naked eye than the one preceding it... When there is awakening in vijnanamaya kosha, siddhis begin to manifest. The practitioner becomes clairvoyant and telepathic; he begins to know many things about people and events before they happen, which come to him in the form of dreams, thoughts or visions. He develops the power to read others’ thoughts and also to change them. Or else he may develop healing powers."
