His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama is considered to be the current reincarnation of Avalokiteshvara. Green Tara is said to have been created from a tear that fell from Avalokiteshvara's eye.

namo ratnatryaye namah
aryajnana sagar vairocana vyuharajaya tathagatayah arhate
namah sarva tathagatebhyah arhatebhyah samyaksambuddhebhyah;
namah arya avaoliketshvaraya bodhisattvayah mahasattvayah mahakarunikakayah;
tadyatha: om dhara dhara dhiri dhiri dhuru dhuru itiye vitiye cale cale pracale pracale kusume kusumvaraye ili mili cetam jvalam apnaye svaha
Ratnaya - Great Gem of a human
Aryajana - of exalted birth and divine consciousness
Sagara - an Ocean of great depth (of being)
Mahasarvaya - Great, all encompassing
Shoraya - Brave and courageous
Bodhisattvayah - Enlightened being who will return until all beings are enlightened
Avalokite - Compassionate Buddha of all worlds or Lokas
MahaKarunikaya - Great compassionate one
dhara dhara - giver (of virtues)
